Required Skills:

• Current and valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Active state licensure to practice as a CRNA in Michigan
• Proven experience administering anesthesia across a variety of surgical cases
• Proficiency in monitoring respiratory and neurological status throughout procedures
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia protocols, safety standards, and EMR documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently under supervision and respond effectively to emergent situations

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Experience with neurosurgical procedures and spinal anesthesia
• Familiarity with Epic EMR or comparable electronic health record systems
• Knowledge of trauma center protocols and practices
• Bilingual abilities or additional language skills

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Master's degree or higher in Nursing Anesthesia or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of CRNA experience, preferably within hospital settings
• Prior experience working in Level II Trauma Centers highly desirable

Other Requirements:

• Flexible availability for four 10-hour day shifts per week, with no on-call responsibilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a hospital environment
• Willingness to participate in required credentialing processes (estimated 90-120 days)
• Commitment to maintaining compliance with all hospital safety and procedural standards
• Reimbursement for licensure, certification, travel, and applicable miscellaneous expenses where appropriate
