Director of Nursing - RN Registered Nurse (Jackson, MI)

As Director of Nursing, you will lead our clinical team of nurse managers, floor nurses, and certified nursing assistants to provide premium nursing care to our patients. You will act as an advocate of the patient, communicate regularly with families, and guide and develop your clinical team.

• Salary Range: $110,000 - $115,000 per year

• Supervise the nursing team including giving direction and assignments, offering training, and delivering recognition and evaluations
• Assess residents to ascertain their condition and ensure nursing care is carried out as directed
• Implement standards of nursing practice through policies and procedures, and maintain required department records
• Collaborate with facility leadership to coordinate efforts and resolve operational problems
• Schedule staff meetings to ensure continuity of planning and implementation of effective resident care
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with residents, families, and visitors to foster a positive healing environment

• Graduation from an accredited professional nursing program with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) and substantial knowledge in nursing management
• Current Michigan RN license; current CPR certification
• At least 3–5 years of experience in a long-term care facility, including 2+ years in an administrative role
• Clinical knowledge of long-term care nursing with ability to anticipate and respond to resident needs
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality care
• Team player who is dedicated to supporting colleagues and getting the job done
