Unit Manager – RN Registered Nurse

Position at Nex Care Well Bridge Senior Living located in Cascade Senior Care Center. The Unit Manager is a registered nurse responsible for coordinating the clinical care of an assigned unit within the center’s 24‑hour operation and ensuring consistent, quality care for all residents.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the nursing team, give direction and assignments, offer training, and contribute to recognition and evaluations.
  • Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
  • Instruct the team regarding the skilled care process and function as a resource person for clinical issues.
  • Ensure the completion of requested reports (infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management, etc.).
  • Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in every daily interaction with guests, families, and visitors, fostering a positive, healthy environment.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with at least 2 years of related experience.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Michigan and current CPR‑BLS certification.
  • High level of analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well‑being.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, innovative care.
  • Team player dedicated to supporting team members and getting the job done.
