Registered Nurse RN 7T Neuro PCU - Jackson

Overview

Registered Nurse RN 36 hour/week - Day Shift - Henry Ford Jackson 7T Neuro (Mixed Acuity) Progressive Care Unit. Minimum of 6 months RN inpatient experience.

• Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicate pertinent patient/family information to the health care team. Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensure implementation of solutions.

BSN preferred. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

• If ADN, must be willing to enroll in an accredited BSN program within 3 years of start date, obtain your BSN within 5 years of start date.

Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. BLS required.
