Join Henry Ford Health in the 6 South East Medical / Surgical Unit at Jackson Hospital. This unit provides care for a diverse patient population, including renal and oncology diagnoses, with skilled staff and a low RN turnover.

Responsibilities:
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team and participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals, ensuring implementation of solutions.

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program within 3 years of hire
• Completion of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within 5 years of hire
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Professional certifications to support a culture of nursing excellence
