As a Program Manager, you will lead cross‑functional manufacturing programs from initiation through delivery. You will ensure programs meet customer requirements, timelines, quality standards, and financial objectives while serving as the primary point of coordination across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and customer stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end‑to‑end program execution from quote handoff through production and delivery
- Develop and manage program schedules, milestones, resources, and budgets
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sales
- Serve as the primary customer contact for program status, risks, and deliverables
- Identify program risks, develop mitigation plans, and expedite issues as needed
- Facilitate regular program reviews and internal status meetings
- Ensure adherence to customer specifications, quality standards, and compliance requirements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, cost, and delivery performance
- Maintain detailed program documentation, including timelines, change requests, and post‑program reviews
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of program or project management experience in a manufacturing or technical environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, short‑lead‑time environment
- Proficiency with project management tools and reporting systems
- Experience in metal fabrication, stamping, welding, or precision manufacturing
- Aerospace and Defense manufacturing experience
- PMP, Lean, or Six Sigma certification
- Strong customer‑facing experience
- Ability to influence cross‑functional teams without direct authority
- Full‑time, on‑site position at the Jackson, MI, manufacturing facility
- Regular interaction with shop floor operations
- Requires collaboration across technical and operational teams
