Production Team Member
LOCATION: Chelsea, MI
HOURS & COMPENSATION:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Compensation: $16.75 per hour
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Compensation: $16.75 per hour
  • Shift Premium: $1.00 per hour
• 3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • Compensation: $16.75 per hour
  • Shift Premium: $1.00 per hour

BREAKS: All shifts receive one 15-minute break and one 20-minute paid lunch. Because lunch is paid, there is no leaving the company property.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate and monitor assembly line machines to ensure smooth and efficient production of steel components.
• Load materials and components into machines, ensuring correct placement and alignment.
• Conduct regular visual inspections of parts and components to identify any defects or irregularities.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure proper functioning and report any issues to the maintenance team.
• Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all housekeeping standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Good attendance
• Positive attitude
• Ability and willingness to learn and grow

REQUIREMENTS:

• Steel toe shoes
• Safety glasses
• Full-length pants in denim or similar material, t-shirt, or long sleeves (no rips or tears)
• Long hair tied back; jewelry is highly discouraged, but necklaces may be worn if tucked inside the shirt
• No cell phones permitted on the production floor for safety purposes
