COMPENSATION: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour, DOE - WEEKLY PAY!
LOCATION: Chelsea, MI
SCHEDULE: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Monday to Friday
POSITION OVERVIEW: Join Fastemps as a Die Setter with leadership skills! We are looking for individuals with a strong background in Pressroom Operations and a mechanical inclination. This is a direct hire opportunity where you will play a crucial role in our success as a metal stamping powerhouse company with multiple locations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Verify that die maintenance is performed according to the die tag.
- Ensure the Spectrum is set up correctly for each setup.
- Follow die setting procedures for each press, updating setup sheets as needed.
- Keep presses stocked with materials.
- Document piece counts at the end of each run, shift change, or job change.
- Monitor the visual and gauge quality of presses in the assigned area.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in Press Operation/Die Setting.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Proficiency with both hand and power tools.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Computer operating and programming skills.
- Clean and organized facility.
