Location: Jackson, MI
Pay Rate: Up to $34.00 per hour (based on skills and experience)
Shift: 1st Shift, 30-minute lunch break, two 10-minute breaks

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Programmer for a temp-to-hire position at our Jackson, MI location. This role will primarily involve programming and operating HAAS CNC machines, with a focus on milling operations (no lathe work).

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in CNC programming, especially with HAAS CNCs and DS30, and be capable of setting up, troubleshooting, and ensuring the quality of parts produced. The position offers competitive pay up to $34 per hour based on your experience and skill level.

Responsibilities:

• Program and set up HAAS CNC machines, primarily for milling operations
• Troubleshoot and ensure machine functionality and part quality
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to develop programs
• Collaborate with the production team to meet production goals
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment
• Perform regular maintenance and calibration on CNC machines

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a CNC Programmer, with a focus on HAAS CNCs
• Strong understanding of milling operations (lathe experience is not required)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical manuals
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
