Advance Turning & Manufacturing, Inc., a global leader in manufacturing machine components for Medical, Aerospace, and Space Exploration, is seeking an experienced 3rd shift Production Supervisor/Value Stream Manager to lead our night shift operations in a fast‑paced CNC Machining environment to work at any of our three Jackson locations.

Candidate Qualifications

Provides daily supervision and leadership for the production shift, ensuring smooth and efficient operations ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and on‑time delivery. Enforces company policies and procedures, develops team members’ skills and capabilities, and drives continuous improvement in production methods, equipment, operating processes, and workplace conditions. Focuses on enhancing customer and employee satisfaction while optimizing the use of manpower, materials, and machinery.

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Several years of experience supervising, coaching, and developing employees to drive continuous improvement is preferred.
  • Associate degree from a two‑year college or technical school, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience, is desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Responsibilities & Requirements
  • Working knowledge of Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing principles.

  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching, recognition, counseling, and corrective action as needed.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; effectively interacts with management, peers, and team members at all organizational levels.
  • Capable of making sound decisions within established policies, exercising initiative under regular managerial guidance.
  • Contributes to improvements in production control systems, standard operating procedures, safety programs, quality control, and performance management processes.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude, teamwork, and alignment with company values.
  • Able to plan ahead, organize work over a 30‑day horizon, and execute action plans accordingly.
  • Completes employee evaluations within established timelines.
  • Supports special projects as assigned by the Manufacturing Manager.
  • Effectively manages multiple priorities and adapts quickly to changing demands.
  • Proficient in computer applications relevant to manufacturing operations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing methods, processes, and equipment.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and control plans.
  • Highly organized, initiative‑taking, and capable of working independently while contributing as a dedicated team member.
