Duties :
  • The Client Health team within the Digital Workplace Services (DWS) department works exclusively within the Windows desktop environment and is responsible for supporting internal customers across multiple locations throughout
  • The EUC (End User Computing) Engineering team (within the BPS team) includes dedicated resources to choose new desktops / laptops, base platform development, software packaging/distribution, and Group Policy management.
  • Serve as System Center Configuration Manager Administrator, responsible for performing all aspects of SCCM application packaging, deployment, support and maintenance of applications.
  • Packaging, Deployment, and Administration of Packaged Applications
  • SCCM Packaging & Deployment:
    Package legacy and modern apps through SCCM and Intune.
  • Power Shell Scripting:
    Used for task sequences and deployment automation.
  • Application Discovery & UAT:
    Engage with non-technical users to validate functionality.
  • Patch Management Awareness:
    Understand priority of security updates vs. software pushes.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to ensure technical solutions are compatible with the company's business needs and strategic objectives.
  • Provide technical expertise, guidance and strategic recommendations to other IT groups.
  • Functional working and debugging knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
  • Investigate, analyze and resolve technical issues and actively pursue mechanisms for preventing, or automating the response to reoccurrences.
  • Contribute to development and ongoing improvement of industry best practices and standards for deploying enterprise desktop technologies.
  • Working with standard dell laptops
Qualifications :
  • Technical Certification or equivalent experience:
    Administering and Deploying System Center Configuration Manager.
  • 3 years of experience in administrative, technical work which demonstrated the ability and aptitudes, required to perform technical or analytical work and coordination involving management information systems; OR
  • One year of related academic study above the High school level may be substituted for 9 months of experience up to a maximum of a 4 year Bachelor's degree in a Business/Information Systems discipline for 3 years general experience.
  • Must demonstrate current expertise in:
    • Windows 10/11 environments
    • SCCM application packaging
    • Modern scripting and automation practices
    • Evolving platforms (e.g., transition to Azure, AI integration)
  • Extensive experience in the implementation, administration, configuration and support of SCCM Enterprise environment.
  • Experience with desktop deployment automation architecture, design/migration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience managing an OS image for large corporate environments.
  • Knowledge of the Windows registry, interaction of drivers within the OS, and unattended/silent installs of Windows operating systems.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in the following:
    • Experience managing and designing an OS image for large corporate environments.
    • Experience in SCCM administration, patching and maintenance.
    • Experience implementing security policies for applications and operating systems utilizing Group Policy.
    • Experience utilizing automated technologies for the deployment of desktop systems.

Technical Certification Bonus:
Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus.

It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
