- Developing and overseeing integrated SAP IS-U/CIS (Customer Information System) solutions across various modules, including billing, customer service, device management (DM/AMI), and exception handling.
- Designing the overall architecture based on process requirements, application needs, and the system landscape, which often involves the SAP S/4
HANA platform. - Ensuring technical integrity and seamless integration across SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI) and with third-party systems.
- Partnering with clients and stakeholders to analyze and define business requirements, processes, and objectives.
- Leading fit-to-standard workshops and Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) to scope projects and deliverables.
- Advising on industry best practices within the utilities sector for both regulated and deregulated markets.
- Providing expert guidance and thought leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, including design reviews, testing, data conversion, and cutover strategies.
- Configuring and developing client-specific enhancements as needed to meet unique business requirements while adhering to SAP's clean core methodology.
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues during implementation and post-go-live support phases.
- Facilitating collaborative architecture discussions with IT and business executives to develop high-level roadmaps and strategic initiatives for digital transformation.
- Providing advice on long-term ("big picture") and short-term ("quick-win") perspectives to leverage SAP functionality effectively.
- Mentoring and developing junior team members and providing leadership in customer engagements at an executive level.
