Job Description

A senior expert guiding the design, guiding, and overseeing complex SAP Contract Accounting (FI-CA) solutions, often within SAP S/4

HANA and BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management), bridging business needs with technical implementation, leading teams, ensuring best practices, and handling high-volume payment/billing processes for industries like utilities and telecom, focusing on strategy, architecture, stakeholder alignment, and successful project delivery.

MUST HAVES

• A minimum of 15 years of SAP Financials
• A minimum of 10 years of SAP Contract Accounting (FI-CA)
• A minimum of five (5) years of SAP BRIM.

Job Requirements Solution Design & Architecture

• Developing and overseeing integrated SAP IS-U/CIS (Customer Information System) solutions across various modules, including billing, customer service, device management (DM/AMI), and exception handling.
• Designing the overall architecture based on process requirements, application needs, and the system landscape, which often involves the SAP S/4
  
  HANA platform.
• Ensuring technical integrity and seamless integration across SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI) and with third-party systems.

Business Process & Analysis

• Partnering with clients and stakeholders to analyze and define business requirements, processes, and objectives.
• Leading fit-to-standard workshops and Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) to scope projects and deliverables.
• Advising on industry best practices within the utilities sector for both regulated and deregulated markets.

Implementation & Support

• Providing expert guidance and thought leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, including design reviews, testing, data conversion, and cutover strategies.
• Configuring and developing client-specific enhancements as needed to meet unique business requirements while adhering to SAP's clean core methodology.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues during implementation and post-go-live support phases.

Strategic Guidance & Leadership

• Facilitating collaborative architecture discussions with IT and business executives to develop high-level roadmaps and strategic initiatives for digital transformation.
• Providing advice on long-term ("big picture") and short-term ("quick-win") perspectives to leverage SAP functionality effectively.
• Mentoring and developing junior team members and providing leadership in customer engagements at an executive level.
