Life Ways is seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinician to provide culturally competent, trauma‑informed care for individuals seeking behavioral health services. Guided by our mission, vision, and values, you’ll help determine service needs, support those in crisis, and connect people to the right resources.

• Welcome individuals with empathy and provide excellent, non‑judgmental customer service.
• Assess needs using Level of Care tools and determine eligibility for community mental health and CCBHC services.
• Deliver timely crisis interventions, screenings, and safety planning.
• Complete intake assessments for Medicaid specialty services, MIChild, Healthy Michigan Plan, and SABG.
• Connect individuals to community resources when they don’t qualify for PIHP/CMHSP services.
• Support departmental tasks such as Rapid Access, REMI screenings, waitlist updates, specialty screens (M-CHAT, SCQ), and more.
• Collaborate with internal teams and build strong relationships with community partners.
• Ensure compliance with Michigan Mission-Based Performance Indicator System (MIMBPIS) timelines.
