The Regional Admissions Advisor – Jackson Campus serves as Baker College’s primary local representative for Jackson County, the western Michigan corridor, and select areas of Northwestern Ohio and Northeastern Indiana. As a key member of the Admissions and Recruitment team, this role supports system-wide enrollment while focusing on the growth and long-term vitality of the Jackson campus. The Advisor builds and maintains relationships with high schools, CTE centers, community colleges, adult education programs, employers, and community organizations, driving regional outreach, community engagement, and enrollment advising.

Through relationship-building, personalized guidance, and a strong local presence, the Advisor ensures a student-centered experience, monitors regional trends, tracks recruitment metrics, and collaborates with Admissions colleagues to develop strategies that advance Baker College’s mission and contribute to sustainable enrollment growth.

• Conduct outreach and host campus events to engage prospective students and communities.
• Provide campus tours and advise prospective students and families.
• Support enrollment processes and connect the college to local workforce and community needs.
• Develop regional outreach, community engagement, and enrollment strategies with the Admissions team.
• Build and maintain relationships with local schools, employers, and organizations.
• Monitor regional trends and recruit metrics to inform strategy and decision-making.
• Collaborate with Admissions colleagues to advance Baker College’s mission and contribute to sustainable enrollment growth.

• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of one to three years of experience in higher education admissions, recruiting, community relations, or workforce engagement.
• Familiarity with Jackson County, Southwestern Michigan, and the surrounding tri-state region preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
