Electronic Technology Adjunct Instructor

OverviewTeach courses in Electronic Technology based on instructor's qualifications. Adjunct instructor positions are part-time. Teaching assignments will vary semester to semester based on enrollment; there may be semesters where no assignments are available.
Essential Functions- Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments, and papers.
- Prepare and deliver instructional materials (syllabi, homework assignments, handouts) in person and/or online.
- Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.
- Compile, administer, and grade examinations.
- Participate in required reporting processes (grades, participation, etc.).
- Assist students in connecting to college resources.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics Technology or related field.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, architecture, or related technical field.
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license or similar.
- Associate degree or higher and relevant certification (CPT, SACA, or similar).
- Associate degree or higher and 3 years documented industry experience relevant to course being taught (electrical maintenance, electrician, electrical contractor, or similar).
Unofficial transcripts for degrees held must be included with application and related work experience must be clearly identified on application; otherwise application will be rejected as incomplete.
