Procurement Analyst

The Procurement Analyst is responsible for coordinating purchasing activities, analyzing procurement data, and maintaining strong relationships with external vendors. This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills to ensure the company obtains goods and services efficiently while maintaining compliance with procurement policies.

The position involves collaboration with vendors, internal teams, and clients, and may require travel for vendor meetings, facility inspections, and coordination activities.

• Analyze procurement data to support purchasing decisions and cost optimization.
• Coordinate payment, delivery, scheduling, and organization of purchases.
• Place purchase orders to ensure continuous supply of materials and services.
• Maintain communication with external vendors to negotiate terms and clarify agreements.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and contractual obligations.
• Monitor vendor performance and address issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.
• Participate in vendor meetings and facility inspections when required.
• Support procurement process improvements through data analysis and reporting.

• Applicants should be comfortable splitting time between office responsibilities and travel as required.

• Initial training will take place in Jackson for the first three months

• After training, the position may be based at another service center.
• Occasional travel to Jackson will still be required.
