Job Opportunity Shift Details

Shifts are available from 1900 to 0700 on the following days:

• Friday, Saturday & Sunday
• Saturday, Sunday & Monday

• New York State Registered Nurse (NYS RN) License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

• Assess patients and families with a range of needs, quickly identifying normal parameters, deviations, and abnormalities in physical, emotional, developmental, and behavioral status based on clinical experience.
• Implement a person-centered care approach in developing care plans and prioritizing nursing interventions to meet the needs of patients and families, actively involving them in establishing care goals.
• Demonstrate technical competencies required for patient care, and remain informed on organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
• Act as a resource for peers and engage other health team members in care delivery.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided, ensuring thorough follow-through, and apply critical thinking in making clinical decisions while properly documenting care provided.
• Stay informed about research and evidence-based practices in nursing, taking initiative in responsibilities within the team and care delivery system.
• Support team members in acquiring department-specific knowledge and skills, recognized as a resource for clinical practice and operational systems.
• Provide leadership in implementing standards of patient care within the department.

All shifts will be conducted in a facility located in New York, NY.
