Travel OR RN — 13-week assignment in Ithaca, NY (14850). Seeking an experienced Perioperative / Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) with 1+ year of recent OR experience for Surgical Services in the Finger Lakes. Ideal for travel nurses looking for New York travel nursing and surgical nurse opportunities.

• Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (Finger Lakes region)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 2/9/2026 – End: 5/11/2026)
• Unit: Surgical Services – Operating Room (OR)
• Shift: Day shift – 4x10 hour days (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri; 9:00am–7:00pm)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse / Travel RN
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,420 – $2,550
• On Call: Required (participation in on-call rotation)

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York or compact state (eligible for NY licensure)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room / perioperative nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• Experience in Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Pathology, Sub-Acute, Pediatric PACU, or Pediatric OR is a plus
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to participate in on-call coverage and respond to emergent surgical needs

• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate perioperative care to surgical patients across specialties
• Assist surgeons and the surgical team during operative procedures, including instrument handling and surgical counts
• Prepare and maintain a sterile operating room environment using proper sterile technique
• Monitor intraoperative patient status and collaborate with anesthesia providers for optimal patient safety
• Ensure accurate documentation of all perioperative care, surgical procedures, and patient handoffs
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to urgent surgical cases
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support positive surgical outcomes and quality improvement
