• Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (Finger Lakes, New York travel nursing)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing (13-week contract)
• Department: Emergency Department (CMC ED) — 29 beds (21 monitored, 5 psych-safe, 3 hall beds)
• Start Date: January 26, 2026
• End Date: April 27, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (ED night shift / night RN)
• Average Hours / Week: 36 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,200 - $2,320

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State (NY RN license)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department / ER nursing experience (ED RN, acute care)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Strong clinical communication, triage, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary healthcare team (physicians, PAs, case managers, social workers, ED techs)

• Provide direct patient care and family support in the Emergency Department (ED RN duties)
• Perform triage, assessments, and monitoring for acute and critical patients
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for ED patients
• Monitor and respond to patients' physical, psychological, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs
• Coordinate patient movement, admissions, and discharges; support transfer logistics
• Serve as charge nurse when assigned—coordinate staff assignments and team workflow
• Receive pre-arrival reports from EMS and coordinate with triage for walk-in arrivals
• Support care protocols in a chest pain accredited and primary stroke center Emergency Department
