• Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare jobs)
• Setting: Outpatient Dialysis Clinic
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (July 1, 2024 – September 30, 2024)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift (8-hour shifts)
• Hours per Week: 40 (hours not guaranteed if facility is closed on a holiday)
• No on-call or holiday requirements
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1980–$2120

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Dialysis nursing and Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) nursing
• Outpatient dialysis experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

• Coordinate and schedule procedures including Cath lab, Interventional Radiology, and Kidney Biopsies
• Manage outpatient infusions (IV iron, blood transfusions, magnesium, IV fluids, and more)
• Assist with in-office procedures such as tunneled dialysis catheter (TDC) removal
• Provide follow-up on lab work and communicate results to patients
• Facilitate referrals to Davita and Fresenius clinics; coordinate Kidney Smart training
• Support genetic testing and medication prior authorizations
• Set up venous mapping testing and ensure continuity of care for dialysis patients
