• Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 – Explore New York healthcare opportunities in a lively college town known for its gorges, lakes, and thriving arts scene.
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (August 5, 2024 – November 4, 2024)
• Healthcare Setting: Endoscopy Unit
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, day shifts (8 or 10 hour shifts available)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Call Requirement: Weeknights, weekends, and holidays
• Employment Type: Travel nursing job
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2140 - $2300

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Endoscopy RN or procedural nursing experience
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to participate in call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after endoscopy procedures
• Assist physicians and healthcare team members in the Endoscopy Unit
• Administer medications and IV sedation as ordered
• Educate patients and families on endoscopic procedures and post-procedure care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety standards
• Respond to emergencies and participate in the unit's call rotation
