Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour day shifts with shift times ranging from 5:00 AM start time to 9:30 PM end time

• Four 10-hour shifts preferred as alternative scheduling option

• Flexible scheduling available

• On-call requirement includes one weekend day call (24 hours) in a 6-week rotation, plus weekday call

• Preoperative experience preferred

• Experience with peripheral nerve blocks preferred

• Work in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) managing both Phase I and Phase II recovery and discharge in same area

• Maintain 1:2 patient ratio, potentially managing two Phase I patients simultaneously

• Experience with pediatric patients age 6 months and older required for busy ENT cases including tonsils, tubes, and adenoids

• Handle various case types: elective, add-on, urgent, and emergent procedures

• Recover patients from orthopedic, general, ENT, neurology, plastics, urology, and gynecology cases

• Manage inpatient and outpatient procedures

• Recover ICU patients and endoscopy patients with anesthesia (MAC cases)

• Handle local cases including thoracentesis/paracentesis and minor orthopedic procedures

• Daily surgery recovery volume varies from 11 cases on low census days to 35 cases on busiest days

• Will not be required to float to other surgery centers

• All patient care delegated within ASPAN guidelines and recommendations
