• Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 28, 2024 – August 27, 2024)
• Setting: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU nursing jobs)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (3 shifts per week)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,720 - $1,840
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse

• Active RN license in New York State or compact nursing license
• Minimum 1 year of recent PACU or critical care nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare setting

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and status, responding rapidly to any changes
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery processes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all patient care activities
