• Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York nursing jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (March 3, 2025 – June 2, 2025)
• Healthcare Setting: Prep & Recovery Unit (PCU)
• Shift: Day shift – 4x10 hour shifts per week (must be 4x10s; 3x12s not accepted)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,140 - $2,300
• On-Call Requirement: Includes 1 weekend day (24-hour call) in a 6-week rotation, plus weekday call
• Employment Type: Travel RN, W2

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York State or compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of recent PCU, Progressive Care, or acute care nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work scheduled on-call shifts

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Prep & Recovery Unit (PCU)
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient conditions
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery processes
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
• Participate in required on-call rotation
