Lab Technician
Job Description
The Lab Technician is responsible for performing basic to moderately complex laboratory activities and routine analyses and procedures under the direction of a supervisor. This role will assist in various ongoing tasks within the lab, kitchen, and/or pilot plant as required by the supervisor or project leader.
Responsibilities
* Perform basic to moderately complex lab activities.
* Conduct routine analyses and procedures as directed.
* Assist in all activities within the lab, kitchen, and/or pilot plant as required by the supervisor or project leader.
* Ensure quality control through accurate and precise lab work.
Essential Skills
* Ability to follow direction accurately.
* Understanding of laboratory and mechanical processes.
* Basic to moderate proficiency in laboratory tasks.
Additional
Skills & Qualifications
* Training will be provided as necessary.
* in laboratory work is advantageous.
Work Environment
The Lab Technician will work in a lab, kitchen, and/or pilot plant setting. This environment will require adherence to safety protocols and may involve standing for extended periods, handling various materials, and wearing appropriate safety attire.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Ithaca, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
