• Setting: Hospital – Respiratory Therapy Unit
• Employment Type: Travel Respiratory Therapist Contract
• Start Date: February 3, 2025
• End Date: March 17, 2025
• Duration: 6 weeks
• Shifts: 3x12 hour night shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: 2-3 nights per weekend coverage
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1930 - $2080

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification – required
• Current New York State Respiratory Therapy license – required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications – required
• NRP certification – preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital or acute care setting
• Strong critical care and clinical decision-making skills
• Proficiency in high flow oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, arterial puncture, and non-invasive ventilation
• NICU experience is a plus

• Deliver respiratory care to neonate, pediatric, and adult patients in a hospital environment
• Manage high flow oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, arterial punctures, and non-invasive ventilation procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Utilize strong critical thinking and acute care skills in fast-paced situations
• Follow established clinical protocols and hospital safety standards
• No on-call or floating required
