About Us:
Woofer Electronics Distributors, a leading electronics distribution company in Itasca, IL, is seeking a dedicated and responsible Delivery Driver to join our growing team. As a key part of our logistics chain, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality electronics products to our customers in a timely and professional manner.
Responsibilities:
Ensure timely delivery of our products to businesses and individuals.
Load and unload products from vehicles in a safe and orderly manner.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer authorizations.
Interact with customers in a professional and positive manner.
Operate delivery vehicle in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
Perform daily vehicle inspection checks.
Report any discrepancies to the direct supervisor.
Adhere to company operating policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 lbs.
Good time management and customer service skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Must pass background check and drug screening.
