Join Our Team as an Elementary School Speech-Language Pathologist!
Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of young learners? We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Elementary School Speech-Language Pathologist near Maywood, IL! This position is perfect for passionate professionals looking to inspire and support students for the remainder of the school year.
Position OverviewAs an SLP, you will work approximately 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch . Your instructional hours will be from 8:20 AM – 3:00 PM . You will manage a caseload of around 40 students across Kindergarten and grades 1/2, providing both push-in and group services, along with some case management.
Your Responsibilities- Provide speech-language services to students in general education and instructional classrooms.
- Conduct push-in and group services twice a week for two instructional classes.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students, including case management for about 13 students with S/L needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive learning environment.
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- A Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology.
- A current state license (PEL License required) or eligibility for the same.
- ASHA CCC certification.
- Spanish language skills are a plus, but not mandatory.
