Precision Freight is seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Business Development Rep to join our growing team. This role is exclusively focused on prospecting new customers, securing business, and building strong, long‑term relationships within the logistics industry. The ideal candidate is a freight sales professional with experience, thrives in a fast‑paced, service‑oriented environment and is motivated by growth, opportunity, and financial success.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Research, identify, and target potential customers through cold outreach, networking, and market research.
- Initiate contact with potential clients via phone calls, emails, Linked In, and industry events.
- Effectively present Precision Freight’s services, negotiate pricing, and close new accounts to drive revenue growth.
- Develop long‑term partnerships by understanding clients’ needs and providing exceptional service.
- Ensure consistent communication and follow‑up with clients to foster trust and repeat business.
- Consistently achieve individual and team sales targets, contributing to company‑wide growth.
- Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and diversify the company’s client portfolio.
- Utilize CRM tools to monitor sales performance, customer interactions, and revenue trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service execution for customers.
- Mentor other team members in sales.
- 2+ years of logistics or freight brokerage sales experience.
- Proven ability to prospect, negotiate, and close business in a competitive logistics environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence decision‑makers.
- Motivation, drive, and results.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
