ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Quality and Production Manager ensures that manufacturing operations run efficiently while meeting or exceeding quality standards. This role directly contributes to the company’s value by:
- Driving Operational Excellence: Optimizing production processes to maximize output, minimize waste, and reduce costs.
- Safeguarding Product Quality: Implementing and maintaining rigorous quality control systems to ensure products meet regulatory and customer requirements.
- Supporting Strategic Goals: Aligning production and quality initiatives with the organization’s overall objectives for growth, customer satisfaction, and compliance.
As a Manager, Quality Control & Production, you will be responsible to :
- Supervisory Responsibility: Full authority for hiring, performance management, and development of production and quality teams.
- Independence of Action: Operates within broad organizational guidelines; sets own goals aligned with company objectives.
- Decision Making: Decisions impact production efficiency, product quality, and compliance across multiple functional areas.
- Problem Solving: Regularly addresses complex, varied issues requiring innovative solutions beyond standard procedures.
Core Skills Required
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in production and quality.
- Coaching and mentoring skills to develop team capabilities.
- Knowledge of ISO standards, Six Sigma, and other quality frameworks.
- Strong understanding of root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and process optimization.
- Capacity planning and workflow management.
- Data-driven decision-making using KPIs and metrics.
- Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement.
- Clear, concise communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling tools.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and safety standards.

- Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
