Systems Administrator, IT Support, Network Administrator
An international chemical manufacturing and solutions company in the Itasca, IL area is looking for an IT Infrastructure and Network Administrator who is responsible for designing and implementing the company's IT infrastructure systems as well as network management.
IT Infrastructure and Network Administrator Responsibilities- Design, implement and maintain core IT infrastructure systems
- Write scripts to automate processes
- Monitor overall IT systems to ensure high performance and stability
- Maintain and improve backup systems
- Maintain and monitor network security and seek for an improvements
- Responsible for assisting help desk responsibilities as well as perform system updates
- Ensure systems meet security requirements
- Design and develop communication systems
- Provide technical support for hardware and software issues
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business
- At least 3 years of experience with IT infrastructure
- At least 3 years of experience with M365, Entra
- At least 3 years of experience with network work support
- Experience with tier 1,2 helpdesk
- Experience with Jira ticket is a plus
- Ability to travel up to 10 percent to MI and CA
- Strong communication and organizational skills
This position includes manufacturing and office work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
