Accertify is seeking a Sr. Manager of Generative AI to lead our company‑wide strategy for leveraging AI for operational efficiency for both internal and external products. This leader will serve as the central point of intake for AI and automation needs, orchestrate the deployment and adoption of solutions, and ensure tools are used responsibly and effectively across the organization. The role requires a unique blend of technical fluency, business acumen, vendor management, and organizational leadership.

The ideal candidate is as comfortable evaluating AI platforms as they are communicating company‑wide adoption strategies and partnering with leaders across functions. This role will report up through the AI/ML organization.

• Own AI Efficiency Initiatives:
  Lead a centralized intake process to capture internal business optimization needs and determine whether AI, automation, or other tools are best suited for the challenge (e.g. Agentic workflows, LLMs, cron, etc).

  Partner with leaders across all business units to identify opportunities for AI and process optimization, translating their needs into scalable solutions.
• AI Tool Selection & Communication:
  Establish and communicate clear standards for approved tools and AI use cases across the company; serve as the primary voice for AI adoption internally.
• Procurement & Vendor Management:
  Partner with procurement, compliance, and legal teams to evaluate, propose, and negotiate with vendors. Ensure chosen solutions align with regulatory, security, and business requirements.
• Training & Deployment:
  Oversee technical rollouts to ensure seamless adoption of AI and automation solutions.
• Team Leadership:
  Manage and mentor a high‑performing and cross‑functional team of operations and AI engineers.
• Strategy & Measurement:
  Define and track KPIs for AI adoption, efficiency gains, and productivity improvements. Continuously refine the roadmap based on results and feedback.

• 8+ years of experience in software or data engineering, including automation, enterprise technology, or operational efficiency roles.
• Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol), and workflow automation tools like N8N, Windmill, or Node-RED a plus.
• Experience with Apache Spark, Airflow, or similar training and orchestration tools.
• Experience working with procurement, compliance, and legal functions to vet and implement enterprise solutions.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technology concepts into clear business value narratives.
• Demonstrated success in building and leading teams.

• Potential salary range: $180,000 - $215,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
• This role is eligible for remote US‑based (work‑from‑home) locations. Chicago‑based candidates would work in a hybrid capacity from the Accertify HQ located in Itasca, IL.
• Travel:
  Less than 15%
• Visa Sponsorship: employment eligibility to work for Accertify in the U.S. is required, as Accertify will not pursue Visa sponsorship for this position.
