Job Description SummaryUnder the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will help maintain smooth, accurate pharmacy operations and provide exceptional support to patients and healthcare teams within our National Home Healthcare program.
Responsibilities- Review and validate prescription refill requests and process them in accordance with OCH policies and state regulations.
- Assist with the preparation, dispensing, and safe use of medications and supplies.
- Maintain equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning, and testing, and notify the supervisor of any defects.
- Collect and manage basic patient information for material and prescription planning.
- Answer patient questions and address basic patient requests to ensure a positive experience.
- Receive, verify, and store incoming supplies and materials; update inventory records and keep track of expiration dates.
- Identify shortages, pick and pack materials and supplies, create tickets, and input data into inventory systems.
- Schedule routine patient deliveries.
- Sanitize surfaces, laminar hood flows, and organize supplies.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 0 to 6 months of relevant experience.
- Licensed or registered within 6 months of hire (if required by state).
- Successful completion of the OCH designated training course within 6 months of hire (if required).
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
- Ability to perform basic and intermediate level mathematical calculations.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Office 365 (e.g., document editing, data entry, spreadsheet functions).
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, reach, and carry at least 30 lbs.
- Preferred: previous healthcare or pharmacy technician experience.

Salary & BenefitsPay Range: $18.72 – $31.20 per hour, based on education, experience, skills, and market data.
