We have been the leader in the arcade, amusement, and entertainment industry for over 40 years and are looking for a determined individual to join our team as an Inventory Analyst on-site in Itasca, IL.
The Inventory Analyst oversees merchandise and distribution, keeping track of inventory records and products. Specifically, will be responsible for performing routine counts of products and producing reports. The role functions within the Merchandising Team in the Retail IP Division, reporting directly to the Merchandising Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze inventory metrics including sell‑through, stock levels, weeks of sales, and inventory turnover to support informed merchandising and replenishment decisions.
- Oversee inventory receiving, reconciliation, and reporting across multiple product categories to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and enforce inventory control processes and best practices to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve inventory discrepancies and improve operational efficiency.
- Receive and process inventory at both warehouse and retail store locations.
- Coordinate and execute inventory transfers between locations.
- Reconcile invoices and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate documentation for inventory records, reports, and tracking sheets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 3+ years of experience in an inventory or analyst role OR minimal experience, with a preference in the retail and toy industry with a bachelor's degree.
- Bachelor's degree in merchandising, business management, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Collaborative and self‑motivated, with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
