About the RoleThe OCS Associate plays a critical role in delivering exceptional service to customers, suppliers, and internal teams. This position sits at the center of operations, supporting order management, logistics coordination, inventory planning, and financial accuracy. What You’ll DoAs an OCS Associate, you’ll support day‑to‑day operational excellence by ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong communication across teams.
Customer & Order Support- Enter and manage customer, supplier, and vendor records accurately in internal systems
- Process customer purchase orders, sales transactions, quotes, and forecasts
- Create and issue customer invoices and ASNs
- Support sample, trial, and service orders
- Prepare and submit purchase orders to suppliers
- Coordinate inbound material and outbound logistics, including freight and duty postings
- Prepare logistics quotes and manage transportation details
- Monitor inventory needs in collaboration with Sales and Operations
- Process supplier invoices and maintain accurate pricing records
- Post freight, logistics, and duty‑related transactions
- Ensure all documentation is properly filed and maintained in Docuware
- Support monthly and annual close by completing tasks accurately and on time
- Partner closely with Sales, Operations, and leadership to resolve issues in real time
- Identify and elevate risks, rejections, or delays promptly
- Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly planning activities
- Contribute feedback and insights to improve systems, workflows, and tools
- Work within company‑developed and third‑party systems, including SAP, Mezzanine, Overdrive, EDI (Radley), CRM, and Docuware
- Associate degree in business, operations, logistics, sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in an operations, customer solutions, or supply chain environment
- Experience with in the automotive supplier industry is a plus
- Working knowledge of SAP and related operational systems
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow‑through
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly in a fast‑paced environment
- Full‑time, Monday through Friday (flexibility for early mornings, evenings, or occasional weekends as needed)
