Position: Full Stack Software Engineer (mid/senior)

Casavo is a next-generation digital real estate agency that leverages technology to simplify and expedite the process of buying and selling real estate.
Job Overview
We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our team and contribute to building exceptional web applications. You'll be instrumental in developing both the frontend and backend of our platform, working primarily with React and Next.js on the frontend, and Scala, Java/Kotlin, and Elixir on the backend. You'll have the opportunity to design, develop, and deploy features that directly impact our users, and work in a collaborative, agile environment.
This position is open to both intermediate and senior-level engineers, with responsibilities and expectations adjusted accordingly based on experience.
The salary range for this position is between 40.000€ and 55.000€, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development:
Develop and maintain user interfaces using React and Next.js, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
Backend Development:
Design, build, and maintain robust server-side applications using Scala, Java/Kotlin, and Elixir.
API Development:
Design and implement RESTful or Graph

QL APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend.
Full Stack Integration:
Ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend components.
Database Management:
Work with databases to design schemas and optimize data storage and retrieval.
Code Quality:
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, accompanied by comprehensive automated tests.
Deployment and Monitoring:
Deploy and monitor applications in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Collaboration:

Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features.
Problem Solving:
Debug and resolve issues across the full stack.
Contribute to Architecture:
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills

Frontend Expertise:
Proven experience with React and Next.js, including proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+) and Type Script.
Backend

Experience:

Solid understanding of backend development principles and experience with Scala, Java/Kotlin, and Elixir.
API Development:
Experience designing and implementing RESTful or Graph

QL APIs.
Database

Skills:

Experience with SQL databases.
Cloud Proficiency:
Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment processes.
Version Control:
Proficiency with Git.
Testing:

Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Communication:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Problem Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Understanding of web performance and security best practices.
