Service Technician - Italy role at Atlas Copco Group

Your role
As a Service Technician - Italy, your mission is to ensure customer service satisfaction by resolving technical problems in a safe, fast and reliable way on site or in workshop. This is done by providing the right professional analyses, guidance and follow‑up of/with our business partners and key accounts in coordination with our technical support team and operations team. You will report to Technical Support Team Leader.

Prepare repair or maintenance proposal
In‑depth troubleshooting to fix technical issues mechanical and electrical nature on Portable compressors, generators, batteries and pumps.
Prepare technical proposals for customers and internal
Prepare Spare parts proposals to customers or internal
Coordinate and do equipment commissioning and support on basic user training
Instruct and train customer users or technicians on product utilization and equipment service and maintenance needs.
Lead and implement equipment inspections and advise customer or user accordingly
Complete service reports and suggest improvements for reliability
Being responsible for the Safety and health of yourself but also the others in your surroundings in the course of your daily works as well as during your working schedule.
Follow and commit to the SHEQ internal guidelines and being responsible for the usage of the TIA App.

To succeed, you will need

You have more than 5 years of experience, working as a Service Technician
Experience maintaining and repairing various types of mechanical and electrical equipment.
Strong mechanical and electrical skills with demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of a wide variety of industrial equipment
Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams
Knowledge on Portable compressors, generators, battery technology or pumps are a plus
Knowledge on MS windows packages
Good level in Italian & English language (other language is a plus)
Proactive approach and problem solving
Driver's license
Flexibility to travel across Italy

This role requires you to work on‑site at our workshop in Milan, Italy (IT). You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face‑to‑face collaboration and work on customer field.
