Your role
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager responsible for defining and governing the overall quality strategy for complex, enterprise‑scale digital platforms operating across multiple countries.
The role ensures that products and services meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and compliance by leading centralized QA functions, coordinating local quality teams, and acting as the final authority on quality readiness for releases.
The position combines strategic ownership of testing frameworks, operational leadership of QA teams, and strong stakeholder interaction within a fast‑paced, Dev Ops‑oriented environment.
Define, own, and continuously evolve the global Quality Assurance and Testing Strategy, including policies, standards, and methodologies
Lead and manage a central QA function, including test automation, performance, and non‑functional testing specialists
Set objectives, priorities, and performance targets for QA teams, ensuring alignment with business and delivery goals
Select, manage, and optimize testing tools and platforms (test management, automation, performance, reporting) across the organization
Act as the central point of governance for distributed or country‑level QA teams, providing standards, guidance, and quality assurance oversight
Govern the end‑to‑end testing lifecycle, defining and enforcing quality gates, entry/exit criteria, and risk‑based testing approaches
Provide an independent QA sign‑off for releases, acting as the final quality gate before production deployment
Produce and maintain quality dashboards and executive reports, including defect metrics, test coverage, progress, and risk assessment
Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, with a strong focus on test automation, early quality involvement (“shift‑left”), and efficiency gains
Evaluate product and service quality levels, identifying risks, systemic issues, and improvement opportunities
Oversee the investigation and resolution of customer complaints, incidents, and non‑conformance issues, ensuring corrective and preventive actions
Requirements
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical background
Extensive experience in Software Quality Assurance, including several years in a leadership or management role
Proven ability to define and implement testing strategies for complex, multi‑country or multi‑team platforms
Strong expertise in test automation frameworks;
Non‑functional testing (performance, reliability, scalability);
Test management and reporting tools
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and the role of QA within Dev Ops and Agile delivery models
Deep knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and best practices across the SDLC
Background in software development and/or hands‑on QA activities is strongly preferred
Professional QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB Advanced / Test Manager) are considered a strong advantage
Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
Languages – being fluent in Italian and English is mandatory
