Mission
Dolce & Gabbana, a leader in the world of luxury fashion, has an exceptional career opportunity, within the new in-house Beauty Division, for a Beauty Image Specialist based in the HQ in Milan.
This role reports to the Image Manager & supports her/him in building the visual content strategy linked to fragrance and makeup marketing plan for both new launches and catalogues on a worldwide perspective, including all consumer touchpoints (media, points of sale, digital tools, e-commerce, PR). The specialist will lead the post‑production phase of static and dynamic visual assets in terms of timing, guidelines set up, market needs, and local developments both online and offline following each step subsequent to shooting and asset selection.
The Specialist will sit within the Dolce & Gabbana Beauty wider communication department, having three main internal stakeholders:
Global Marketing and Go-to-Market Beauty teams and Corporate creative teams, as well as the external visual production agency.
The ideal candidate will be a talented profile passionate about visual and media, fashion and beauty industry, with an analytical approach able to read and translate the brief shared by Global and Market teams in a precise and efficient way. Ability to understand the shooting process and supervise, especially on catalogue, packshot and trade contents briefing, shooting, post‑production and release is required.
Previous expertise on advertising campaigns, as well as a strong understanding of the current luxury and youth culture, are required.
Responsibilities
Support the Image Manager to develop the shooting calendar, content list, and strategy to support key fragrance & makeup launches and initiatives according to commercial and business needs.
Support the new Global MUA Programme, identifying new opportunities & driving visibility through content strategy, supporting and facilitating the shooting preparations.
Brief and support Global Marketing product managers on mock-ups and products for shooting, paying particular attention to timing, quantities, and packaging needs.
Work closely with Global Marketing team and key internal stakeholders including Digital, Image, Social, Media, and Visual Merchandising team to ensure visual coverage of the 360º products activations.
Guidelines and campaign development brief coordination, collecting markets’ needs and requests.
Work and support Go-to-Market team ensuring information and strategy sharing in global strategic toolkits respecting master calendar deadlines.
Draft and edit visual bible documents based on buyouts on a regular basis to be shared both with global and local teams.
Main point of contact with Corporate and visual production agency dedicated team for the campaign development production to ensure correct editing of key crops, guidelines, digital tools through:
Full menu master visual crops brief
Specific markets’ needs international and conservative markets
POS developments and adaptation
Digital development and adaptation
File release archiving
BTL tools set up and coordination
Visual bible editing
Main point of contact with visual production agency partner for:
Accounts and profile management
Assets uploads, file and management on visual platform for markets
Buyouts and order management on visual assets available for markets
Maintain a strong understanding of competitor campaigns within the competitive beauty & luxury landscape, providing regular insights & information to the wider team.
Oversee day‑to‑day budget management and supplier payments.
Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of relevant advertising & communication experience
Interest in working with key opinion leaders (creatives, photographers, production teams)
Experience in working with, and knowledge of, international markets (previous experience in a global role is desirable)
Experience in file and classification of a large amount of content according to specific nomenclature, crops, technical specifications
Experience in agency environment is desirable
Excellent coordination, management, and communication skills
Excellent time management & organisational skills with a sense of priority
Excellent attention to detail always with an aesthetic and visual look on executions.
Ability to communicate across a big organisation at different levels, and manage multiple stakeholders
Enthusiastic, ability to work proactively to find new/impactful ideas to support the business
Hard‑working, self‑motivated, and passionate about visual arts static and dynamic
Fluent in spoken/written English. Italian language is a plus.
Additional information
Start date in a full‑time position (local Italian contract)
Relocation from abroad is possible & will be discussed case by case
