Your role
As an E‑commerce Business Insight Manager, you will play a key role in enabling data‑driven decision making across the e‑commerce organization. The role sits at the intersection of business analysis and performance‑driven site merchandising, focusing on product performance, on‑site optimisation, and commercial impact. You will translate data into actionable insights to improve conversion, revenue, and customer experience, working closely with e‑commerce managers, Marketing, and Product teams.
The role also includes an active contribution to budgeting and forecasting, supporting planning, forecasting, and topline reviews.
You will conduct in‑depth analyses of product performance—including bestsellers, discounted and promotional items—to assess their impact on key commercial KPIs. Working closely with D2C Merchandising, you will quantify the business impact of product‑related initiatives such as assortment changes, promotional strategies, and product visibility rules.
You will define, optimise, and monitor on‑site sorting and ranking strategies using tools such as Algolia, managing the site merchandising and product roadmap, and designing and analysing tests and projects to maximise commercial impact.
You will collaborate with the planning team to align merchandising strategies, product availability, stock levels, and promotional calendars, ensuring stock availability during key trading periods and promotional activities to maximise sell‑through.
You will thrive in an environment where you work with data and partners to answer “why” questions and drive measurable results in a fast‑paced, international setting.

Main responsibilities:

Deliver daily and weekly reporting and performance analysis, producing actionable outputs for the e‑commerce team and top management, using data from multiple sources and tools.
Perform ad hoc analyses and data‑driven deep dives on business topics, issues, and strategic questions to support the growth of the online business.
Prepare and contribute to weekly and monthly business reviews, as well as budgeting and planning sessions with top management and the finance team.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and topline planning, monitoring performance versus targets and identifying risks and opportunities.
Partner with regional e‑commerce managers to analyse KPIs across the full e‑commerce funnel (traffic, UVs, CTR, CR, AOV, AUR, revenues, orders), identifying optimisation levers.
Conduct product and merchandising performance analyses, focusing on bestsellers, discounted and promotional products, to maximise conversion, revenues, and margins.
Collaborate closely with D2C Merchandising teams to define, measure, and evaluate the business impact of product‑related actions on commercial KPIs.
Define, optimise, and monitor on‑site sorting and ranking strategies using tools such as Algolia to improve product discoverability and commercial performance.
