About the role
The role will need to work closely with internal & external stakeholders. However, its true potential lies in unlocking synergies and scale across Core brands portfolio – to generate profitable and balanced growth through outstanding execution.
The Senior Customer Marketing Manager On trade will drive the Core brands execution in On trade channels. To deliver exponential value business growth, extending our share leadership through strategic priorities in Gin, Aperitivo, Liquors and Beer. Brands as Baileys, Tanqueray, Venturo and Guinness are at the heart of the daily job.
Top Accountabilities:

Accountable for results of the activation handled.
Coordinate with Head of Customer Marketing, Head of Sales and regional Managers to build & own Core brands strategy.
Influence in-market partners and agencies to develop and implement the right growth strategies for Diageo.
Applies information from Diageo and the customers to understand sales trends, identifying both the gaps and opportunities leading to brand growth strategies.
Work closely with Marketing team, Shopper Marketing and Sales to unlocking synergies for Core brands.
Operate with the highest standards of compliance, controls and governance & risk management.
Budget Management.
Coordinate indirect/direct reports.

About you

Validated experience in Marketing, Trade Marketing or sales roles (over 5 years).
Experience in Italy and the Spirits or Beer industry is a nice to have
Commercial mindset–P&L accountability, you have a proven track record of delivering dedicated execution. Y
You are curious and passionate about spirits keeping up with trends, competitor activity & discovering the success platforms of the future.
Able to build strong networks & relationships, holding tension as required both internally & externally.
Analytical skills – you can synthesize and analyze data, generating meaningful insights and recommendations.
Agility to work in a fast paced, matrix organization.
Ability to build brilliant relationships with partners both internal and external to deliver outstanding outcomes.
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards of excellence.
Effective communicator, driving simplicity.
Craft the future – lead the breakthrough thinking for the organization to unlock the market growth opportunity.
Influence senior partners across Italy to follow your strategy.
Fluent in Italian and English.
