About The Role:

Part of the responsibility will be to establish an efficiency agenda and optimize momentum alongside worldwide brand groups and/or markets. The role will be accountable for delivery of performance goals for marketing Italy, and for building capability across the marketing team. A measurement framework will be developed to help marketing and client engagement teams understand tools and analyses, including long‑term and short‑term measurement capabilities, identify new opportunities, and integrate brand health and ROI.
Business Complexity:
This is a complex role requiring advanced problem solving and influencing skills. The role holder will collaborate with multiple entities simultaneously to support implementation of a common solution at scale and manage associated cultural change.
Leadership Responsibilities:
Drive action from a newly developed promotional and customer interaction community. Motivate the community to spend money differently.

Create a virtuous culture of Marketing Performance, Measurement & Evaluation in Diageo to increase the impact of investment in A&P.

Key Responsibilities

Drive delivery of the marketing performance targets through utilization of Diageo’s marketing effectiveness platform to the marketing budget.
Drive a deep change in behaviour – applying marketing effectiveness principles to every investment decision.
Embed marketing effectiveness thinking and capabilities into the business and planning cycle.
>Develop a coordinated measurement framework to enable marketing collaborators to understand which solutions to apply under which circumstances and to have a unified approach to measurement.
Develop relationships with Global Brand Teams and develop a cycle of optimisation through brand teams and hubs.
Work with colleagues in the marketing effectiveness team to synthesize key findings and insights into marketing performance and ensure they are fed back to key decision makers effectively.
Manage and continually improve the marketing analytics programme that supports the marketing impact capability.
Continuously and actively seek out enhancements of Diageo’s marketing effectiveness capability to unlock further value.

About You

6+ years experience in similar consumer marketing organisations or marketing effectiveness consultancies or econometric modelling agencies.
Demonstrated experience directly driving business change across collaborators, including working with business leaders at all levels.
Outstanding influencing skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Confidently lead sessions, often to a senior audience.
Self‑starter comfortable with a rapidly‑changing environment.
Energetic, relentless desire to succeed, great teammate.
Used to working with a variety of partners and building relationships.
