PRODUCTION MANAGER

The Production Manager oversees daily manufacturing operations, ensuring timely and high-quality output of conveyor and automation components. This role manages resources, enforces production plans, and drives continuous improvement across the shop floor, while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.
Main activities

Manage daily operations in the electrical and mechanical workshops and warehouse.
Develop and maintain production schedules to meet project deadlines.
Allocate resources and assign tasks to ensure optimal workflow and productivity.
Work with engineering to resolve design or manufacturability issues.
Coordinate with procurement to ensure material availability.
Collaborate with quality teams to address non-conformities and maintain compliance.
Ensure all production activities meet internal quality standards and industry regulations.
Promote and enforce workplace safety practices in all production areas.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain safety compliance.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Support the adoption of lean manufacturing practices and new technologies.
Supervise, mentor, and develop workshop supervisors and production staff.
Conduct performance reviews and provide training to improve skills and capabilities.

Skills and attitudes required

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
5+ years of experience in a production management role.
Knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and warehouse logistics.
Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
Production planning and scheduling tools.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes for mechanical and electrical systems.
ERP and MRP systems (e.g., Team System).
Lean manufacturing and workflow optimization techniques.
Quality control and inspection procedures.
Strong leadership and motivational skills.
Excellent communication and cross-department collaboration.
Problem-solving and decision‑making under pressure.
Organizational and time‑management skills.
