Role Overview We are urgently seeking a business-oriented Project Manager with strong, hands-on insurance industry experience to support a major Salesforce adoption programme for a leading insurance organisation in Italy.
This role requires deep understanding of insurance business processes, including how insurance products are sold, managed, and governed, as well as how managerial and operational activities are communicated across sales networks. The successful candidate will already be familiar with Italian insurance market practices, regulatory constraints, and compliance requirements, and will be able to immediately add value with minimal onboarding.
Key Responsibilities Drive end-to-end Salesforce adoption initiatives with a strong focus on insurance sales and distribution processes.
Ensure methodological consistency, operational continuity, and data-driven project execution across all work streams.
Act as a business-facing Project Manager, translating insurance business needs into clear functional and delivery priorities.
Manage project governance, including Steering Committees and Core Team meetings, ensuring alignment with senior stakeholders.
Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, particularly those related to regulatory, compliance, and operational insurance processes.
Align training, communication, and change management activities with evolving business models and sales practices.
Integrate feedback from the sales network, management teams, and internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
Support implementation projects with a strong emphasis on insurance business processes, customer lifecycle, and sales effectiveness.
Mandatory Requirements Proven experience within an insurance company, with solid knowledge of insurance business processes (mandatory).Strong understanding of how insurance products are sold, managed, and governed in the Italian market.
Demonstrated experience working with Italian insurance regulations and compliance frameworks.
4–5+ years of Project Management experience, ideally leading CRM and/or Salesforce implementation programmes.
Business-oriented mindset – able to engage confidently with business leaders, sales management, and operational teams.
Excellent risk management, coordination, and cross-functional leadership skills.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Profile Candidates currently based in Milan or Bologna, or available for occasional on-site presence.
Experience managing Salesforce or CRM programmes specifically within insurance sales environments.
