Main

Duties & Responsibilities
Fulfill bar operations assisting with service, setup, mise en place and cleaning, according to Belmond policies, high standards and procedures;
Welcome customers entering the bar area and maintain a friendly atmosphere, establishing and maintaining good relationships with all guests and handling requests and enquiries;
Plan, organise and control the operations of a bar;
Monitor stock levels, paying particular attention to use‑by‑dates on perishable goods and order replacement deliveries as required;
Supervise the work of bar staff and other bartenders;
Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies;
Bring suggestions for improvement.

be a role model for teamwork and proactively go out of your way to help others;
Drive results: set clear goals and expectations and maximise resource allocation to achieve them;
Capable of advising on best‑selling prices and review regularly according to the Bar Manager's instructions.

Other requirements
Previous deluxe hotel & bar experience in the same position;
Fluent in English and Italian; third language preferred;
Good product knowledge;
Exceptional customer service skills;
Very presentable and well groomed;
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, both with guests and colleagues;
Detail and guest care oriented.

Start date:

March 2026 to End date:
December 2026, with the aim of a continuous collaboration over subsequent seasons at Splendido Mare and a career path;
Salary as by CCNL + increase based on seniority and skill level, separate payslip for 13°–14° and TFR;
