HSE Specialist - part time

We are looking for an HSE Specialist to join our team in Brugherio (MB) for a part-time role (20h weekly).Who We AreQVC empowers shoppers with knowledge and shares insights in a lively, engaging way. Your Impact Reporting to the Director of Global EHS, you will lead QVC Italy’s Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) program, promoting health, safety, and environmental protection across all business units in Italy.

Your responsibilities include:

Developing health and safety risk assessments and implementing control measures.

Counseling senior management on EHS matters.

Overseeing documentation of workplace accidents and incidents, analyzing causes.

Acting as the primary contact with government authorities and insurance institutions, assisting with injury claims.

Facilitating EHS training and medical checks in line with Italian regulations.

Conducting audits and evaluations of processes, safety procedures, and team behaviors.

Supporting compliance with standards like ISO 45001 and the Italian Legislative Decree 81/08.Leading safety initiatives, designing policies, and promoting a safety culture.

Organizing health and safety events and contributing to continuous process improvements.

Collaborating internationally to develop EHS standards and best practices.

Supporting budget development and expense management.

What you bring:

Qualified in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) or relevant degree, or 5+ years’ experience with OSH certification if no degree.

Training in RSPP Modules A, B, and C per local law.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Knowledge of relevant EHS legal requirements.

Fluency in Italian and English.
