The Role:

The Global Medical Advisor will contribute to the development, validation, and integration of medical product strategy for assigned therapeutic areas, generating new scientific data to support the pharmaceutical products for medical integrity, safety, and efficacy in our global markets. Through collaboration with cross‑functional teams and key opinion leaders, the role will drive innovation in medical communication.
Responsibilities

Brand Development: support the development of comprehensive medical strategies for the assigned brands (including Rx, OTC, Medical Devices and food supplements), integrating innovative scientific insights to drive brand positioning, differentiation, and lifecycle management strategies.
Cross‑Functional

Collaboration:

collaborate closely with global marketing, commercial, regulatory and market access teams to integrate scientific claims into brand strategies, promotional materials, and educational resources.
Global‑Local Medical

Collaboration:

collaborate with the Medical Affairs affiliates on the global medical strategy and tailor it accordingly with different needs; generate scientific content together with affiliates and translate insight collections into strategy.
Scientific Engagement: cultivate collaborative relationships with KOLs to co‑create and validate innovative scientific concepts, driving thought leadership and brand differentiation, including participation in clinical teams, study design, publications, medical advisory boards, and scientific events.
Evidence Generation: define and apply evidence generation strategy for leveraging novel study designs, including clinical trials, real‑world data, biomarkers, and digital health technologies to generate robust scientific evidence supporting innovative claims.
Scientific Claims Generation: lead the generation of innovative scientific claims, leveraging cutting‑edge research, novel methodologies, and emerging technologies to advance medical understanding.
Ensure alignment of evidence generation activities with regulatory requirements and market needs.
Assist in the continued development of appropriate medical and promotional activities and materials ensuring compliance to Pharmaceutical Industry policy, laws and regulations.
Stay updated on relevant regulations and guidelines affecting Rx, OTC, Medical Device and Food Supplement products.
Support Drug Safety and Regulatory Affairs Department with medical expertise and review of pharmacovigilance and regulatory documentation.
Training Associates on products and related therapeutic areas where required.

Qualifications

Scientific degree (MD, Pharm

D, Biology or equivalent) required.
Pharmaceutical industry experience in medical affairs or related field: 3‑5 years.
Strong scientific background, personal maturity and professional attitude.
Experience in data generation including clinical study management/oversight.
Experience in OTC, medical device and food supplement.
Good communication, presentation and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders.
Ability to interpret and convey complex scientific information to diverse audiences.
Networking, Decision Making, Leadership, Communication, Strategic Thinking.
