Job Summary
As a Vice President in our Large Cap team you will be a Corporate Banker who is responsible for managing and growing our business in Italy with focus selected candidate will manage a broad suite of products in close alignment and cooperation with product and global coverage partners.
Relationship responsibility is global across our network and full set of corporate banking products;
Debt Capital Markets Payments Credit Financing Trade Markets (Foreign Exchange/rates/commodities) Securities Services and Asset Management.
Job responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced banker to be based in Milan and responsibilities will include:
Working with product and investment banking coverage bankers to pitch for new client relationships and new business with existing clients
Jointly with product partners identifying and leading tailored marketing of products addressing clients needs
Leading credit risk and other internal approval processes for all credit across loans and Markets exposure
Revenue responsibility for top line growth as well as for sound risk return metrics and KPIs set by the business
Being the first line of defence for continuous credit quality, credit risk and other internal approval processes for loans and all counter party exposures
Onboarding of target clients and presentation of the respective business and credit cases to the relevant internal partners and committees
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
Proven Corporate/Investment Banking experience across the Italian market
Proven ability to develop client relationships win new business close transactions and build networks both internally and externally
In-depth knowledge of banking products
Risk management expertise with experience in originating credit and debt capital markets transactions
Proven influencing skills with a track record of managing cross cultural environments and inter-department collaboration
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
Creative inclusive and an innovative team player
Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in presentations expressing complex financial strategies in an organized and articulate manner
Must be willing to travel regionally and internationally
Desired qualifications capabilities and skills
