Overview
We are seeking a Director for our Valuation Advisory Services practice in Milan, with solid professional experience in finance and accounting. The successful candidate will manage complex assignments for multi‑sector corporate clients, including independent and strategic business valuation, industrial property valuation, purchase price allocation, impairment tests, complex financial instruments valuation, fairness opinions, and financial modelling.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Independently perform multiple complex valuation engagements for a wide range of public and private corporate clients, both autonomously and as part of a team.
Demonstrate best‑in‑class understanding of clients’ business models, strategies, and industry challenges.
Act as a privileged interlocutor with clients, showing strong listening and analytical skills to identify needs and deliver value‑added solutions.
Organise engagement work efficiently and provide clear guidance to team members.
Supervise and mentor junior staff in analyses, reports, and presentations.
Take responsibility for preparing and presenting engagement deliverables in a clear, concise, and well‑argued manner.
Build and maintain client relationships, acting as a direct contact for current and prospective clients.
Identify new business opportunities and coordinate the drafting of proposals, presentations, and publications for clients.
Essential Traits
Minimum 10–15 years’ experience in Big 4, investment banking, or equivalent, with a focus on valuation, due diligence, or restructuring.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, or engineering.
Superior analytical and problem‑solving skills, strong teamwork abilities, and personal commitment.
Fluent in both Italian and English.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent and work with diverse communities and teams.
