Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Independent Technical Sales Engineer specializing in Electronics Manufacturing / EMS. The role involves driving technical sales through identifying customer needs, presenting technical solutions, and providing technical support. Responsibilities include troubleshooting client issues, conducting research to understand client requirements and industry trends, and delivering effective communication to engage stakeholders. The position requires collaborating across departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate technical requirements and develop solutions
Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with clients and internal teams
Experience in Technical Support and Troubleshooting to address client challenges effectively
Ability to perform Research to understand market trends and customer demands
Proven knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes and standards (e.g., IPC, UL, and ISO certifications)
Proficiency with design tools such as Solid Works and Altium
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field preferred
Previous experience in technical sales is highly beneficial
